About Us
I have been a part of the Northern soul scene since the late 1980's. Since the early 90s I have been a regular DJ working at soul nights and all-nighters up and down the country and in Europe. My proudest achievements are having being the promotor of the original Bretby nights in the early to mid 90s and being a resident DJ at the highly influential Albrighton nights. I also continue to co-promote the successful "Dab of Soul" weekender in Llandudno. and DJ at a variety of events.
I have been buying and selling records as long as I can remember having made over a hundred trips to the States on buying trips. Since 2003, Midas Touch Records has been a dedicated dealer specialising in rare soul records, particularly focusing on Northern classics and crossover soul 45s. The website has been in existence since 2012.
